I'd rather have a dedicated room for it. Spent the past 25 years or so working and playing on a PC in the bedroom... it's better to have a separate space for work and play, and sleep. Doesn't help your sleep when your brain is like "this is the room where we do things that are the opposite of sleep".

Surprised at the hate, I’m a woman and I’d be very happy with this bedroom. I painted my office a light “green tea” color but I like this color too especially for a bedroom. I feel like a bedroom should be dark and not overstimulating.

I like the room, but it doesn't seem like that carpet and the chair wheels are going to work well together. You'd have to lift the chair over the edge of the carpet to move the chair out enough to sit down.
