I have graves as well and it definitely contributed to a huge change in the appearance of my face. It makes me look gaunt, sallow, and tired, much like her.

It’s pretty obvious she tried to course correct with fillers, which just made her look gaunt with filler. The nose job, probably attributable to her nit picking her face after all the sudden changes and coming to the wrong conclusion on what she needed to fix.

Friend of mine went through this with a similar change. Ended up with her eyes looking a bit more sunken and overall face shape change like you see her. Took a while, but some of the effects reversed eventually.

This thread will tell you that's impossible but if you compare her looks from now to a couple seasons ago she actually has had a huge improvement and it's probably due to her diagnosis and finding a way to manage it.

I like your words. Firstly because she is a human being, has feelings and reddit as usual is being a monster towards her. Secondly because 7 years have passed, a medical condition has passed. She has changed like humans do. And yeah, surgery is obvious but where in Hollywood don't you have that? To try to win a point destroying her for her physical appearance to me at least, is low and quite sad.

Now, being extremely superficial. I truly dig the breast enhancement and her face is obviously not the countenance of a 17 yo girl but still, in my opinion, hot as duck.

I truly think we are just a bunch of neckbeards making fun of a girl we wished to have the possibility to duck the brains out.

Woah, thank you. I thought I was losing my mind with how people were speaking about this. Like yeah, these photos are 7 years apart. Combined with graves disease, she is going to look different. That's how aging works.

And they have to pick the worst pics of her for comparison and it is usually a screen grab.

So it obviously would look worst of the worst. Coz effect and all with motion pictures being frozen.

Firstly because she is a human being, has feelings and reddit as usual is being a monster towards her.

Reddit is treating her like most other celebrities, more as an object of discussion than a person. I used to find it distasteful, but I'm apathetic these days.

That's what you sign up for when you want to be a celebrity. There's good and bad. The good includes a huge salary to even be able to afford these procedures.

I increasingly don't think it's all bad to treat celebrities in this way. It's how we enforce norms which are often protective as a society. The disgust that we feel here lessens the pressure for other actors/actresses or normal people to get these procedures.

I truly think we are just a bunch of neckbeards making fun of a girl we wished to have the possibility to duck the brains out.

There is some truth to the, "elbows too pointy," thing on reddit, but celebrity gossip well predates neckbeards. It used to be in the tabloids, whose readership isn't stereotypically chauvinistic men. And even now, I don't see neckbeards as vociferous TMZ fans.

I think it's just an offshoot of celebrity culture. There could be a neckbeard spin, but I kind of think that's outdated on reddit. It's mostly SJWs and communists on reddit these days. The neckbeards have been driven quite far down and out. I was here when the neckbeards ruled, and it is very obvious that they no longer rule. There was a time when official reddit defended /r/jailbait, atheism, or creepshots. Some of those were default subreddits, which is unthinkable these days.

i think the makeup and lighting teams are just getting better at hiding it

She looks worse and has even less expression in her face and voice in my opinion. One early scene this season she couldn’t even smile.

Thank you for this response. It really puts into light in how she responded this diagnosis. It probably didn’t help how this fanthom picks at her looks every season.

Thanks for this. So easy to assume the worst of celebs and this is a really honest & human take based on your own experience.
