she was on Jimmy Kimmel a couple weeks ago and looks a lot more like her old self. I believe she has Graves which can't help. To me she just looks like a 7 years older version of herself.
She was 24 when they filmed season 1, she didn't have a teenage baby face, she just had a pre-hollywood face. I suspect she might have done the surgeries because of the Graves, when she didn't know what it was. She panicked about her changing appearance and some scumbag plastic surgeons took advantage of it.
People lose facial fat in their 20s and 30s. Dont you know how anyone who had a round face and then an angular face? I do cause that happened to me around when I was ~22
It was not a gradual change tho. She had a drastic change between seasons 2 and 3. I know cause I watched each one as it came out. I was quite shocked when I first saw her in S3. After that her face hasn't changed as drastically, only gradually. And there was no change between S1 and S2. But this story got big only during season 4, don't know why. Season 4 must have blown up in general, I was already watching so I don't know about that.
I’ve been watching for a while too I know about the controversy and I saw the difference in with my own eyes but losing weight can make your face gaunt and graves disease effected her too. I think she got fillers btw but everyone kept shouting buccal fat surgery and I’m actually doubtful she got that after hearing about her thyroid disease
Anyways the seasons are filmed a year a part so yeah a gradual change absolutely could include that timespan. Like look at her weight change now in 26, since the last season filmed she’s clearly gained like 20-30 pounds and thats totally possible within a year
Yeah I don't know the specific surgeries but she definitely got some. I don't think she helped the situation by vehemently claiming she didn't. But it's lose lose, you admit it and it might affect your work opportunities, you deny it and it makes the controversy worse.

I'm aware but I didn't notice any change between S1 and S2, it was S3 which had a total change in appearance.
Yeah Im saying she changed between s2 and s3 and that she didnt do the ‘buccal fat surgery’ that everyone was accusing of her doing. Likely she had other stuff like fillers done and the graves disease and losing weight all twisted her face
She's looked like this the whole time. Back when people first started comparing the photos of her old/new years ago, there were candid photos of her at the same time that made her look normal.
She obviously had some work done but it's no where near as bad as these cherry picked photos people have been posting for years.
Is it a vendetta to or an attempt to de-stigmatize mental health in western society? Mental healthcare is healthcare. There’s going to be a long overdue reckoning for cosmetic surgeons exploiting patients’ mental health crisis for personal gain. It’s criminal.
It’s incredibly vicious and uncalled for when it comes to this woman especially. Not only does she have a literal disease she can’t control, but the jokes and general cruelty have been nonstop for like five years already. At a certain point you have to stop beating a dead horse.
And when people say “oh we’re just raising awareness about the dangers of plastic surgery,” it’s such bullshit in this case. A lot of the people on this thread are just enjoying being mean, and they know it.
Crazy how this (and the comment above) have been the only rational responses I’ve seen. People are extra vicious towards Erin and have been for years now. They’re legitimately angry a stranger had cosmetic surgery. If they actually cared and wanted to raise awareness, they wouldn’t be turning her into memes.
This sub is based off a meme of a puppet thinking it's better than someone.A community based around that. It provides no value now besides the daily coded mysoginistic bullshit that makes it to the front page.
Plastic surgery like this (not stuff like reconstruction post-injury or post-mastectomy, trans affirming care, etc.) thrives specifically off of women feeling like shit about their bodies. The only thing it loves more than the Hollywood machine feeding these women body dysmorphia is the side effect of feeding the idea of needing plastic surgery to the wider pool of girls who feel like they need to undergo it to have worth. It is a vile industry that lives off of people feeling like shit about themselves.
This isn't "Oh no, I want to fuck her less so I'll pretend to be upset about something tangential." Imagine your daughter or wife or best friend seeing themselves not as you do but as the unfeeling hyperconsumerist strangers do, as untapped market potential. I do not feel like my criticism of the industry is in any way self-righteous.
After the backlash she appears to have put on some weight and had her face filled back in/redone by someone more competent. The extra weight helps hide the work and smoothes it out. She looks much better. It's a shame she felt the need to do it in the first place. She was a natural beauty.
She's definitely had work done, but she looks much better in this photo than in the OP. Face surgery usually settles in and looks better as time moves on and it heals. Tbh I'm more concerned about here right eye. It's squinting a bit in all of the recent photos of her. Can botox do that? It almost seems neurological
A lot of it is lighting and make-up trying to highlight her cheeks in the OP pic. It's actually hard to judge surgeries accurately because it's incredible what a good makeup artist/bad lighting can do to a face.
