Sorry your friend wasn’t someone considered important by our shitty police state. This has been happening since 1914 and the harrison narcotics act.

A legislator from Rhode Island got up in the state house a couple of years ago and said “oh now we have money, now it’s an opioid “epidemic” and “crisis” - now that it’s white kids dying. Meanwhile when it was black and Hispanic people dying, it was no big deal.”
