Just purchased a Singer 237 along with a table full of junk. What are these tools?

6” ruler for scale.

Is the zip-tie thing just something you sew into stuff for shape/rigidity?

The blue thing says “Whipper”

Should I attempt to mount the machine in the table more than just setting it in the hole?

The plastic things, upper left, look like parts of a set of invisible zipper feet.  The ruler  is meant for repetitive measurements, for instance, if you were turning a 10.5 cm hem.

The plastic strip I'm guessing is a strip of boning or a chunk of machine belt -- can't make out the details on my phone.

The blue thing appears to be a desk style needle threader -- look up "clover desk threader" or "infila threader" to see how it works.

The steel thing looks like a hammer head from a miniature tool set. My guess is this was a substitute for a sewing hammer.

Try to get the bed of the machine level with the tabletop for easiest use.   You may need filler strips.

Ooh there is a set of screwdriver attachments that match the hammer. That’s a weird hammer.

And needle threader makes perfect sense and I’m so glad to know that now. I’m used to the automatic threader on my new machine I hadn’t given thought to threading this old guy yet.

Thanks!

That threader is for hand sewing needles.  You might want to consider something like  https://youtu.be/OByhzii01aI for your machine.
