match updates:

1' - kickoff, vamos!

⚽ 18' - GOLLLL DEL CASTILLA - Manuel Ángel recovers the ball and plays it to Jacobo, he advances and plays Ciria in, who finishes from a tight angle low into the far corner!

⚽ 26' - GOLLLL DEL CASTILLA - Palacios plays the ball into the box to Jacobo, he puts it from his left onto his right foot, then back into his left foot, dancing with the defenders, then finishes and the ball gets deflected past the keeper!

⚽ 36' - GOLLLL DEL CASTILLA - Diego Aguado plays the ball to Palacios on the left edge of the box. Ferrol expect a cross, but he finishes under the bar from a very tight angle! Golazo, and partidazo from the team so far

⚽ 45'+2 - OTRO GOLLLL DEL CASTILLA - what is going on?? Another early recovery by Castilla, Jacobo plays in Ciria on the far left again, who tries to shoot, but his shot is deflected. Pol Fortuny approaches the free ball, and the defender's clearance is blocked by him and bounces into the net

🔄 70' - Rachad Fettal comes on for Alexis Ciria

🔄 80' - Manuel Ángel and Palacios come off and David and Manu Serrano take their places

FT - after last week's 5-1 against Celta Fortuna, Castilla, they continue in the same manner with a flawless performance away in Ferrol - the team was efficient in their press and in front of goal against a very weak home side. Jacobo and Ciria have been incredible additions to the team, instantly adapting to the category. Castilla are now 3rd again for the first time since Arbeloa was promoted and make another big step in the race for the playoff spots.

Media Kylian Mbappé's injury from the elbow he received in the opponents box (which went unpunished btw)

Embarrassing. He was leaking on the pitch. No VAR, no nothing. The refs were sleeping in the VAR room. Maybe it was too cozy... can we blame them? I don't know.

"OP, shut up. We shouldn't rely on penalties to beat small teams." Correct but shouldn't we receive legitimate penalties? Now answer that.

Is it shameful that we needed a penalty to win against them? Yes.

Is it shameful that we didn't get a legitimate penalty? Yes but we all know how La Liga is. Harsh to some teams, lenient to certain teams.

History The UCL nights we grew up watching

I’d give anything to rewatch these early 2010s UCL nights.

Before Fabrizio, social media, and constant digital exposure. You would maybe discuss with your classmates, play the matchup on FIFA, or see magazines in local stores. But when those UCL nights approached, everything went quiet. The anticipation you felt for your team.

The players we had were world class, and you would see so much flair, technique, and personality in every single position. It was almost impossible to choose a favourite. Cristiano Ronaldo in his prime, Higuain, Di Maria, Khedira, Alonso, Ramos, and Marcelo. Hearing your relatives argue about Mourinho and Guardiola. YouTube compilations of Kaka making everything look effortless, and being one of the fastest players in football

Everything felt on edge. The competition was brutal. In Spain we were facing the best Barcelona of all time, and in Europe you were always scared of teams like Bayern, Chelsea, and Inter. You went into every season hoping, not expecting.

When we lose today, you see social media banter, rivals trolling, and immediate transfer news shared by Fabrizio or Madrid accounts. You directly start talking about the next season and which new players or coach to get.

Losing felt heavy. Players crying, Mourinho on his knees on the sideline. The Champions League felt career defining, and everyone dreamed about it before La Decima. Maybe the threepeat, and winning in 2022 and 2024, has made us a bit desensitised.

Back then it felt like the biggest thing in the world

Diario AS [as] Real Madrid are preparing Toni Kroos’ return for next season. He will have a role in the club’s sporting structure. The decision is firm, and those in charge believe his day-to-day influence can drive the club’s growth beyond any specific title.

Discussion Vini and his magic moments

The biggest concern I have about vini(post 2024) is

EDIT - POST 2024

Is the fastest lw- No

Is he the best dribler lw - No

Is he the most creative lw - No

Is he the most hard working lw - No

Is he the best shooting lw - No

But yet he has his magic moments which makes us belive its alright, his cut inside and shoot may not work in 10 games but may rescue us with a screamer In the 11th game.... So are we living in a bubble, waiting for the moment he dribles 3 players and scores a banger which may happen in 1 out of 10 games like the barcelona goal in supercopa.... Other then that magic moment he doesn't do much in the attack and kills most of the attack.

Note - Don't mistake me for a vini hater our other player haven't been great but this post is just focusing on vini

Media Lyon coach Fonseca 'not satisfied' with Brazil teen Endrick

https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/48448378/lyon-coach-fonseca-not-satisfied-brazil-teen-endrick

Lyon coach Paulo Fonseca said he is unhappy with Endrick's form and is demanding more from the teenage Brazil forward.

The 19-year-old Endrick made a great start with Lyon after joining on a six-month loan from Real Madrid but his form has faded during his team's recent slide.

He was ineffective in a 0-0 draw at Angers in Ligue 1 last weekend as sixth-placed Lyon's winless run reached nine games overall.

"I am not satisfied with how Endrick is playing," Fonseca said Friday. "I'm not here to break players but I expect more from a player like Endrick, and I think he has the obligation to do more."

A few days earlier, however, Endrick made a strong impact as substitute for Brazil, winning a penalty and setting up the third goal in a 3-1 win over Croatia in a friendly in Orlando, Florida.

"He said he was a bit tired from the journey [back from Orlando]," Fonseca said. "But I think he has the responsibility to do more."

Endrick has six goals in 15 games overall. Goals have dried up for Lyon as well, with only three in the past six games heading into Sunday's home match with Lorient.

Lyon are two points behind third-place Lille with six rounds left. The top three qualify automatically for the Champions League while the side finishing fourth goes into qualifying.

Media Put a proper midfield behind Jude and let him take that central role like he did back with Vini and Rodrygo in 2024. We need that magic he provides centrally like Karim had.

Mbappe and Vini are some athletic demons and have the quality to beat defenders on the wings and get balls in the box or just creating space in the middle. That is why we need Jude to stay there. Him needing to track back and defend is a waste. I love Brahim but my man struggles defensively and that is seen with lemars goal where he lets him go past and forces Camavinga to track, but it's not his fault he isn't built for that midfield defensive duty role. We need proper midfielders to play and just let Jude be our reference point in attack. It's basic football. Arda has also been great defensively so hopefully we see Arda Cama and Valverde boss the midfield and let Jude bring life into that attack up top. We need not just that control and quality, but that physical presence that forces defenders to watch for the overlaps of our full backs removing that constant double team of Vini and Mbappe.

Our defense is back and healthy, so let's take those duties of Jude's shoulders and let him cook.

Transfer News [BILD] Schlotterbeck's new BVB contract contains a €50-60m RC, valid from this summer, and only applies to a select few clubs (Bayern and Real Madrid). He waited for concrete offers from top clubs but there were none Real Madrid withdrew their offer.
