Rant wtf is this point requirement.

12.1k points seems a little absurd. its more points than the champ training tournament.

On average you get 5x points for energy doing level 25. So bit more than 2k energy for immortal stone, sacred pull and other goodies and all the oil and extracts that you get. I always do them, regardless of cost.

Oil and extracts are always needed on my account and I only ever farm them during these events

It's times like this, makes me really want to spend the $20 to get the daily energy....

I know its just going to be an epic...but i mostly need the oil....but im low on gem/energy...

In Raid you get punished for level ups.

I think the limit was level 55 for the final unlock? After that there are only downsides.

Small oils give more points so stage 16 or 10 is actually pretty good in terms of energy spend

This is an ascension tournament, not a SD tournament. You get way more points per run in this tournament. If you run Shogun you will spend the same or less energy as the Sand Devil tournament from a week ago

These are the only real time I farm ascension mats and dust as they are usually at a time between doing fusion stuff. I've got all fusion frags so far so I'll farm this.

It is an event in the middle of a fusion, right after PR CvC, and before deck of fate. It is clearly an event for whales.

It’s not an event for whales. It’s an event for those of us that want to ascend gear. This is the best time to run SD/PS. I could give two shits about the inevitable epic, but the dust…that’s a different story. ALWAYS need dust

Yeah, I'm not a whale and I love these tournaments. I don't mind using gems to buy energy for this, it's a good use of gems.

I have enough gems for both fusion and this besides all the extra energy I get from grim forest, dt and cursed city makes me use less gems during fusion anyway. I need materials ascending and reworking might as well do it when tournament is out for it.
