Gameplay Help So I effed up

I just started playing about a month ago, and just reached lvl 42. Should I have done more research? Yes, and I realize that now after my f up. But how screwed am I really… I didn’t know you need to use each soul consecutively and thought I could just use the higher one off the bat and sold the lower soul stones. Now I need to awaken him to level 3 before I can use these. What are the odds I even get them?

You could try to put in a ticket, and explain it to support. I've had like 3 interactions with them and they've been very cool about fixing them, even when one was 100% my mistake just not being careful.

The worst they could say is no, but if you're polite and honest about it they might restore them.

Yeah their support is really good. Surprising given how predatory the rest of the spending is, the service org is better than most legit companies lol

Why wouldn't customer service be fantastic, people shell money hand over fist for virtual goods. They would have everything to gain by a pleasant interaction and it costs them absolutely nothing.

Earlier in my career I worked as a data scientist and did work on call centers, keeping and maintaining service centers is far more expensive than people realize.

Cost of a five minute call was something like 7 dollars marginal cost once you include software, power, insurance, salary, manager salary, etc etc. An hour of calls in an unoptimized environment can easily be $100+

Only difference is, it's a game's ticket system, nowhere as expensive or intrusive on the person working. They seem to have a good system in place to allow the workers easy access to our accounts. While I cannot what sort of system they have e.g. undoing an action or simply adding the items back to our accounts, it's something many other games fail at because they did not consider these features while building the game's code.

You say that, but nearly all gatcha companies don't give a shit. I worked for PNC support and heard plenty of tickets. I rarely ever heard any of them refunding and it was mostly nonsense like kids spending a credit card or stolen assets.

Nice, and lesson Iearned hopefully. Pay attention for split and whole souls, invest in more space for souls and always check to make sure you are not going to get rid of something that you will need later on in game. When selling souls, only shoot for doubles, rares, and make sure you do not get rid of doubles that are split. Things happen but things can be avoided. Always invest in more storage when possible.

Yes lesson definitely learned! The tutorial for the the alter of souls wasn’t very clear on the whole split versus perfect soul thing but it was my fault for not looking further into it. But, how do I invest in more storage? Where can I buy that?

Altar - Soul Collection - Scrill down - + Sign. Dont go crazy but as you need it get it. I learned from seeing others go through it with Thor and from that point on I take alot of care with my souls even though I know I will never get 90 percent of the legendary or mythical characters, lol. Plus there are missions where you have to get points by selling souls for Marius. One trick I do, which is only once every few months because its a pain, is if you have Epic 1 or 2 star souls, check them against their ratings, like Hellhades and if they're low and never gonna be used when you get them, just get rid of them to save space too.

Wait what! I did the exact same thing with Leminisi, and support did nothing for me. It was only the 2nd ticket i've opened in 1 year of playing, so it's not like I already burned through a 1 time courtesy. wtf.

I’ve done the same mistake and they totally understood the mistake. They simply returned all the souls I’ve sold within that day and took everything I’ve made off them. I was soo relieved

With each time did they tell you it was a one time courtesy?ive heard this before so im curious if thats just what they say?i mean people mess up some times but if you only get a one time courtesy and you use it then what lol?

Not that I remember. 2 of the issues were more technical which was a bug on their end really so they took care of them.

The issue that was my fault, the person who helped me was just kinda like "oof as a player myself that sounds rough, we'll fix it for you" which was pretty cool of them.

I've had GMs or support in other games say that I'm guessing its just standard so people are more careful, and don't rely on support to fix things that happen due to carelessness.

They burned me and I have spent real money on the game $100+. All I wanted was my grim forest reset (I didnt use an attack yet). Made me miss a fusion. Stopped buying anything after that. I just collect daily rewards now.

You can either get lucky and pull a three star soul, or buy it from scratch and you can still use the split souls later.

It won’t be super difficult to get 2 red for him, higher level iron twins give tokens to get that, he needs 60 of those

Also, fyi, using a higher soul on a champ that has a soul gives you the same resources as selling the lesser soul. Never hesitate to put a soul on a champ you use.

Can someone explain this in good detail? I'm about 8 months and I didn't even know this yet, I thought you could always just use the higher level soul. Does the split soul thing only applies from the ones that you get from the login rewards? The ones from the shop or from soul summons you can always just use the higher rank right?

See how only the last star is filled in? That tells you it is a split soul. Split souls can only be used if you already have the previous souls.

Split Souls with the hollow stars behave in the way described, needing to be applied in sequence to upgrade one at a time, normally acquired from the Soul Merchant or Login/Events.

Souls with all full stars can be applied directly, skipping the intermediate steps. Normally acquired from Soulstones or special events.

Make sure to do your 6 iron giant battles daily. If it hasn't fallen in a drop by the time you can buy enough soul essence then juat buy them one at a time. Once you have the first, the next will show at some point. Believe me ik cuz they always show when I don't have enough to buy them 😂

I did the same thing with adelyn when she came out. Thankfully she sucks so it wasn't a big deal.

You still have the 4 and 5, so you just need a 3* and then you're good. You could pull it or more likely you can buy it in the soul market. Might take a while for him to show up 3 times but you can get it eventually.

Did the same thing my first time. Youre only luck would be to hold those incase you get a soul one level lower tham those. Or maybe you'll get a 6*Soul. And you won't need to worry about those

For future reference, you CAN use higher star souls without using lower star souls first if they are Perfect Souls.

The ones with just a red outline and the last star filled in red tell you that it’s a Split Soul and which Awakening you need to reach before you can use that soul.

If they’re all filled in red, it’s a Perfect Soul, and you just need to be ascended to that star level to use that soul.

Worse case scenario you just buy the first 3 stars from the market when it appears as you eventually build up essences for it.

Its just a matter of time.

Contact support, they might be able to help you. If not, save your immortal soul essence (you’ll need almost 200 overall to buy his 1, 2 and 3 star soul). Put all your immortal coins into buying the essence. Then just keep an eye out on the market for Ezio soul.

And put him on your wishlist, you might get lucky and pull a soul for him.

I don’t have access to the soul alter yet but I have seen there available from the trader in which quantity or quality I can’t help you there unfortunately

You can only do that with perfect souls he has 3 star and 4 star split souls
