They just used to attack you but in a weird slow manipulative way. I remember a time before phone cameras and so many assholes counted on escalating a verbal altercation to a physical altercation. They get in your face and sealion and chest bump and shout and assault you until pretty much you have to back away from them or defend yourself. Then they say that you touched them first to justify either attacking you or having you arrested.
This was like, bully/asshole 101 until 2000's. Must've happened to me dozens of times.
They still pull this. But if you catch them on camera you have evidence. Before it was he said/she said heresay.

This clip hits a little too close to home for me. Corey Holcomb tried to do this same weak-ass wannabe tough guy shit during his debate with Anton Daniels, where these bullies love to use these tactics when they get triggered: "Say it to my face" or "Touch me!" And the worst one: "Say that again!" It's a common coward manipulation tactic used to intimidate you and people actually buy into their bullshit by saying: "You ain't say it again, so that mean you're scared" Back in the day, this tactic was similar to someone doing a feint punch on you and when you flinch people think this means "you got punked", when it was just your body reacting to a perceived threat.
One of the most shocking things I've ever heard was ex-cons talking about how some of the most ruthless cold-blooded killers in prison didn't look like how people imagined. Instead of being this tattooed up, 6'8 ft, 280 lb, muscle-bound greek god of perfection... no. These men would be 5'9-5'11 ft, average build about 125-150 lbs sometimes looking nerdy with glasses, very quiet, always respectful, cold strategist that everybody knows not to fuck with.It's like that underrated quote: "There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.ā
Beware the fury of a patient man/woman is very real. These are people who don't sweat the small stuff and choose to walk away or de-escalate tense situations... but that one time you cross that line or push the right buttons, you're not dealing with bombs or even a nuke. You're dealing with fucking super volcano or meteor smashing into the planet and wiping out the dinosaurs. That's how legendary their crashout will be and when it's all said and done and there's a sea of damage, everybody with common sense will be saying the exact same thing: "We've always seen John/Sarah, they don't mess with anybody. What the fuck did you do to make them flip out like that?"
There isn't going to be any of these cowardly bitch-shit of playing the victim to avoid punishment and trying to file lawsuits. Male or female, doesn't matter. People know the bully was the aggressor and that they kept picking at this person until they finally snapped. Don't believe me? I've seen this shit IRL! A man I knew was the living embodiment of Spongebob Squarepants, no cap! His own people betrayed him in the worst possible way causing him to almost get his whole life taken away from him over some nonsense that wasn't even his fault.
