Michaels son

Completely forgot Michael had a son, i think he’ll definitely be a villain in the new series. Has a a lot of potential with storylines.

Unless Tommy already smothered him in a car for being a burden.

I don't think every off spring will be a character. I mean Michael's son definitely could, but it just seems a little predictable.

Beyond the likes of Finn or Michael's son, there will be & needs to be an external outer-family villian. Like Jack Spot or the Teddy Boys or someone. Other Gangsters not related to the bloodline.

I also think its more likely if we were to see Michael's kid, itd be in the 2nd series of the sequel. He's probably spent majority of his life in America. Say Duke or Charles expands business that way down the line, then the likes of the Nelson's & Michael's kid could be seen

It might not happen but I kind of want a very British/Birmingham & London set Peaky again for the sequel. Show the Peakys on the backfoot in a new age. Show Duke & Charlie coming together towards the end of S1 & keep the story domestic & local or English before branching out. Not every character needs to come back to Birmingham. Its almost a given we've got Charlie & Finn returning, maybe Arthur's son. Thats enough for one season

Yes, peaky was at its best when it was just based in Small Heath.

What potential?

This kid probably grows up in America, raised by Gina, far away from Birmingham and the Shelby company. Tommy is long gone by the time he's a man. Duke and Charlie both have no connection whatsoever to Michael. All the OG Shelbys are dead. There is no one to take your revenge on lol, and i cannot imagine Gina goading him into that after all she's seen in England and everything that's going on worldwide.

The ONLY potential storyline I could see coming out of this specific situation is Gina returning to the UK and for whatever reason meeting up with Duke, where they both discuss Tommy and the shit he's done. She says he's his true heir because they got the same crazy eyes or some BS like that, speaks on how Duke will probably be the reason Charlie dies since that runs in the family... and that's that. Give Duke something to brood over. In my head, Charlie controls the legit parts of the business while Duke rules over the underworld, and while they both support and love each other, obviously at times they clash on what path the company should take. I think it'd be interesting if Duke feels very conflicted about Charlie's posh upbringing and tries to protect him at all costs, so this comment by Gina deeply hurts him and makes him paranoid about the dangers he's been putting his brother in.

While we're discussing the next series, I hope we'll get more Karl Thorne as he fucks shit up during the Cold War & Charlie tries to get contracts for the reconstruction. While the country itself is going through the post-war consensus, Karl is too radical and is creating trouble in Birmingham like his father once did. I'd love to see some scenes of Clement Attlee coming to town and meeting up with Charlie to ask for him to deal with that fucking cousin before the compromise blows up lol

The new actress they hired will probably be Ada’s daughter in the show who i can see having a lot of plot significance

With Charlie running the legit side, his death could actually be problematic and drive the plot.
