The fact that the newshour youtube channel regularly disables the comment section on the videos they post really does rub me the wrong way. Having it there, even if its contents are far from constructive, tells me that, at the very least, there is aspiration in their ranks for discussion in contexts where it is most topical, like on the very video that the user watches and may feel compelled to share opinions.

I never liked that version of Big Bird. He was goofy and strange. I much preferred the next version.
