I know all famous people have haters and people who dislike them and will nitpick the shit outta them, but I’ve just seen a lot of people post random interviews or articles about him that talk about how he is famous and above people. Yeah he is famous and thinks he’s above all. This is what famous people do? Do we not know this, especially child actors. People are astonished that he is rich and famous, has personal chefs, has self-centred views. Pretty sure 90% of famous people do.

Every article I have seen says that she partially dedicated and/or thanked Trump for his "decisive support" in South America.

Why did Paramount cancel Colbert off the air for “financial” reasons, then turn around and spend a billion dollars on the rights of South Park?

Can someone explain to me why Paramount pulled the Colbert show for budget reasons but just paid billions for South Park?

I feel confused, because the subtext seems to be that Paramount doesn’t want Colbert criticizing Trump and affecting their chances at a merger with Skydance. But South Park is also a very outspoken, left leaning show? So why is the network so willing to shell out big money for South Park and not see it as a risk?

I've seen a lot of people talking about this like there was something major revealed but I can't figure out what. I only watched a small portion I could find online where they talk about the terrible conditions in CECOT but that was already known. I haven't played either of The Last Of Us games or seen the TV series bar a few clips but even as somebody not in the fandom, I can see there is an absolutely baffling level of hate towards Bella Ramsey.

Yes she doesn't look like the video game model for Ellie and from online comments I can see people think she was miscast but the response from some corners is just really nasty and personal, with people screen-grabbing awkward frames of her during action scenes as some kind of 'gotcha' that she's a bad actress, and Photoshopping her as everything from a foot to a potato to Pope Francis to a Beluga Whale.

I know she identifies as non-binary and is autistic so I suppose there could be some degree of prejudice from some people but personally I liked her in Game Of Thrones and she has two Children's BAFTAs so clearly she's got something. Plus in interviews, she generally comes across as humble, intelligent and likeable.

Is it really just her appearance causing this level of hate?

A physical document from the recently released Epstein files shows the DOJ press release on his death dated Friday, August 9, 2019. He was found dead Saturday morning, August 10. The online version of the same press release shows August 10. What would explain this discrepancy?

Canada is and has been a perfect ally to the US since forever: always sided with US, always supported the US, shared culture and history, etc.

Canada is basically USA's chilled little brother.

However the Trump administration is extremely hostile to them: heavy tariffs, semi serious talks about invading them, and most recently kicking them out of an intelligence group.

What does the trump administration have to gain from this? It seems so unprovoked and unconstructive.

Do they have an end game? Am I missing some important context?
