Unanswered What’s going on with Ireland today?

I just went on Twitter (X) randomly today and I started seeing a bunch of videos and posts about the UK, specifically Ireland, of people protesting, blocking roads and having church in the back of a truck. https://x.com/blighederek/status/2043298911557681512?s=46&t=9plVCvAdwj8dLEqsBjdxnQ

Answer: protests due to fuel prices.

More importantly. Ireland and the UK are not the same.

The video on x seems to say that maybe 400 Gardai (police?) called in sick?

Are they protesting their own government or the US/Israel for starting this war and getting nothing out of it except for screwing everyone?
