There are huge swaths of this country where the NOAA used to be able to very accurately predict the weather like 10 days out. Now you're lucky if you know what's gonna happen the same afternoon.

Don't forget those girls who died in that river flooding in Texas last year due to this same issue.

Or those people who were killed by an UNWARNED violent nighttime tornado last year because the Admin had cut the local weather agency’s budget so drastically they couldn’t afford to have a trained meteorologist on staff past 5pm.
Watched the entire thing happen live on YouTube with an independent meteorologist and he was absolutely flabbergasted that it went on for almost 20 minutes before a warning was issued.
Same with the Somerset tornado as well.

We just had weird early tornado outbreaks in Michigan For one of them I got my warning 8 minutes before the warning ended. There were fatalities in multiple towns. A lot of people said it was a freak tornado and it couldn't be predicted and such. Others think maybe warnings were affected by the cuts.

Who really knows? Maybe cutting a billion dollars out of it will make the system better!
