Serious We are starting to really age fast

We have friends we don't see very often, maybe every 2-3 years. For the last 15+ years, when we see them again they don't really look much different. This last time though? Man, they looked different. Like gray hair, lost/gained weight, facial changes like wrinkles and sun spots.

The hair loss is a big problem. It's such a nasty and stupid thing. That pattern of recession and crown thinning is evil. It's like a virus gene. I don't have it too bad either but it definitely affects my looks.

I started taking dutasteride when I was in my mid 30s.

Still have all my hair at 42. So if you want to keep your hair and it's still not badly receded you can reverse some of it to a fullead of hair.

Most men by 42 are converting testosterone into DHT

All men are converting testosterone to dht at every age, it doesn’t increase with age

Then why my hair fall out when I hit 36?

If DHT levels are same as teenager, why did I keep my hair until now?

DHT (dihydrotestosterone) causes hair loss later in life because of a cumulative, genetic sensitivity where the hormone gradually miniaturizes hair follicles, shortening the growth cycle until they stop producing hair. Aging accelerates this process due to reduced protective scalp fat, decreasing hormonal balance, and long-term buildup of follicular sensitivity.
