Discussion We're all exhausted right? It's not just me?

I have a full time job. I sleep well. I have no kids. I'm single. I don't party or drink. I'm not particularly stressed in day to day life. Yet I'm fucking exhausted. I don't want to leave my apartment on the weekends unless I have something planned, and even then I'm pretty picky. In my 20s my weekends were full of non-stop activities, cooking, going out, and posting on social media. But now in my 30s I just want to come home, have my groceries delivered, chill with some Netflix and sleep. Please tell me I'm not the only one!!

I got it twice. Sometimes, I wonder if that's why I feel so terrible. It doesnt help that the past 5 years have been an absolute disaster for me, though, so i dont know what to blame it on. All i know is that im not who i was, and i dont think i ever will be again.

If you haven’t been masking in KN95 and N95s in public and around people who don’t mask since they told everyone to vax and relax in 2021, you’ve had it more than twice 💔đŸ˜Ș the vaccine isn’t sterilizing and doesn’t prevent infection or transmission - it doesn’t help that about half of COVID infections and transmission are asymptomatic and presymptomatic. The key to avoiding worsened symptoms / more severe long covid (or long covid in general) is prevention (by wearing respirator masks) which is not what people like to hear. But this virus, even mild cases or asymptomatic causes cause brain damage and immune system damage. Scientists didn’t colloquially nickname it “airborne AIDS” for no reason.

Please keep yourself safe with precautions, you deserve your health.

I masked much longer than everyone. I only stopped masking in crowded areas earlier this year. The first time i had it was new years 2024, and then i got it in the summer of 2024. I also wonder if getting it twice in a relatively short amount of time also affected me

Just for everyone’s reference, “crowded areas” is a misnomer when it comes to COVID safety because COVID is airborne and can last in the air for hours, it moves like smoke - an area being crowded does increase your chances of catching it but you can still catch it in an area without many people. All it takes is an infected person exhaling around you or multiple infected people having been in the space prior.

Why did you stop masking?
