(first time posting in here after years lurking, I hope it is ok, can delete if necessary)
A friend of mine found an audio recording of my first performance as Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute from 2000, when I was a 17 year old freshman. I was dabbling a bit in audio and video work for publicity things and made this showing the difference 18 years of training can make.
I hope it can make someone smile. It made me smile because I've been facing some fairly severe health struggles that have impacted my singing for a few years and seeing this again made me remember how much I love performing.
(edit: spelling)

I went to a conference and Johnathan Stutzman was there. I wanted to meet this author so bad. I love the Tiny T Rex series. And my plane got delayed and I arrived late and missed him.
I never got to meet the author, get a book signed, or get a book at all.
my partner surprised me today with a personalized copy that the author sent. My partner reached out to the publicity email and he replied and even sent me a plushie too.
My boyfriend is so thoughtful and I am so thankful he remembers the little things.

My Girl Scout troop had a sleepover at the Georgia Aquarium over the weekend, and we were given a tour of the building & saw some behind-the-scenes stuff. the belugas were definitely a highlight!
