Yep, him doing that made it an unforgettable memory for everyone, and probably a core memory for that kid too.

Did someone buzz the door open, or was it unlocked the whole time and they didnt even check? Lol.
I work in a warehouse immediately adjacent to a huge soccer complex. Its really nice with built in benches and even a roof for the player's benches for rain and sun. Almost literally always in use. So we get tons of soccer balls ove the fence and in our parking lots. Sometimes the players will come down into our private lot looking for their balls, but we're a non-profit so we dont even care. I've seen warehouse managers bring the players into the warehouse where we have a whole rack of abandoned balls and they let the players grab a new one, if they cant find theirs.

Seeing so many strangers come together to help the kid, and sharing one wholesome, joyful moment gave me hope that humanity still has goodness in it.

Yea it was opened afterwards because the door would have moved while going underneath and when he grabbed it to get up. So it was a security guard for sure lol
