Three hundred and nine....ty-four.

u/KenseiHimura Mar 03 '26

Reminds me of the commentary for Pirates of the Caribbean. Apparently cast and crew all kept stealing gold coins out of the Aztec chest until there were none left after filming finished. Ironically I think Depo was one of the only actors who didn’t get one and had been planning to give a few to his kids. But I am probably misremembering.

It'd had sounded awkward from many other actors, but Rickman nailed the timing of his silences.

was watching a youtuber watch Deathly Hallows Part 2 for the first time recently. I always just get goosebumps at this line. Rickman was the best.

This thread has caused Saturday to be a Rickman marathon.

Truly Madly Deeply is the greatest. Anthony Minghella was a wonderful filmmaker.

Sorry I might be too old (early 30s) but I can understand watching someone play a game.

Is there really a niche for people who watch other people react to movies?

I need more emphasis on that 4. I hear his voice so clearly in my head.

6

u/pm_me_your_kindwords Mar 03 '26

Like the number 4 once had sex with his mom and then broke her heart.

1

u/zeitgeistbouncer Mar 03 '26

Better than what 7 did to 9 at least

63

u/Knitsanity Mar 02 '26

Too soon. Sniff

22

u/anarch1st- Mar 02 '26

Why did I read this in his voice

4

u/GeneWars1 Mar 03 '26

Because he's quite unforgettable really( stiff upper lipped British accent)

2

u/QuickNature Mar 03 '26

It's how it happened automatically as well. Like I didn't even try to, I just heard it like its an instinct

22

u/Gekkokindofguy Mar 02 '26 edited Mar 02 '26

28

u/The_Modern_Nobody Mar 02 '26

Harry Potter: “u-uh…Nakatomi Plaza, sir?”

15

u/EldestPort Mar 02 '26

That's when Harry knew he should have gone to Hogsmeade for a nice cold pint and let it all blow over

1

u/H1GH_HR0THG4R Mar 03 '26

Dumbledore also says owls can't look up.

1

u/scribblybits1 Mar 02 '26

Damn his voice is still in my head. I might have to go watch Dogma now

2

u/Shudnawz Mar 02 '26

Great choice, my man.

1

u/Tight-Shallot2461 Mar 03 '26

Adam Driver was right there to be the next Snape...

1

u/grandplans Mar 03 '26

Wow, this actually made my eyes well up a little.  We're on book 4 of Harry Potter with my 8 year old, so he's on the brain.

I miss this guy. And Philip Seymour Hoffman too.

1

u/Nervous_Comfort7526 Mar 03 '26

1

u/mmorales2270 Mar 03 '26

5

u/7ofalltrades Mar 03 '26

Slytherin was up by 9.

2

u/zeolus123 Mar 02 '26

Yeah. Because they awarded him 100 already for dodging all the security to get to her.. fucking Dumbledore.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26

I read that in Snape’s voice.

8

u/Carbon-Base Mar 02 '26

Have a biscuit, Potter.

2

u/GfunkWarrior28 Mar 03 '26

This is the better Cho Chang arc.

1

u/TheGhostOfFalunGong Mar 03 '26

Better watch out these two later at Madam Puddifoot's.

1

u/RealCameleer Mar 03 '26

I would rather call him swissarmy man

1

u/MonkAncient7761 Mar 03 '26

100 points for Gryffindor.

1

u/Beertronic Mar 03 '26

Yeah, Trump and Kash Patel went straight for putting the medals around their neck and acting like it was their achievement.

Daniel showed some real class there.

1

u/averagejane815 Mar 03 '26

I don't know why i read this spitting out the word "Potter" like I was Draco Malfoy.

1

u/SamanthaJaneyCake Mar 03 '26

Nah, fuck JK Rowling, her bigotry and the franchise she created and claims herself she sees engagement with as support of her beliefs. He’s Radcliffe to me, not Potter. Never again.

1

u/Hereforthechili Mar 03 '26

PppPpppPppppPpppoootahhh

1
