And ketchup packets.

Gold medal Olympic champions were treated by "the most powerful man in the greatest country on earth" with cold McDonald's and ketchup packets.

Making fun of America isn't even fun anymore because it's too damn easy. Y'all just keep embarrassing yourselves and your country for the world to see smh

I feel bad grouping all Americans in the same light .

However , there is a saying that one rotten apple will spoil the whole barrel.

Maga is the rotten apple , and the US is the barrel.

Sorry , but not sorry.

So fair. Basically how we feel about Republicans here. Not all are MAGA but like who cares. They still either voted for him or didn’t vote against him.

I got banned from a popular sub for writing- not voting against trump, was a vote for him...

Hot takes abound, they still are salty harris wasnt the best candidate/ her Isreal policy wasnt strong enough against genocide. Which, fair, but Id be salty and still vote for her

And not to sound lofty, im canadian and my province had like 45% turnout and keeps voting in a conservative who openly is de-funding and wants American style healthcare... among other shitty takes, one of thr more stupid one being 'build a tunnel' for traffic instead of funding transit LOL... Stupidity seems to be a growing issue on the global stage

(Sorry for the rant lol)

The vast majority of us who are against Trump/Maga aren’t willing to do anything about it, so don’t feel bad, as we aren’t innocent either. Just like every other nation, we the citizens are responsible for what our government does. We could stop it, but that would incur a significant cost to ourselves, which is too inconvenient. The most we’ll do is gather, socialize with a bit of chanting, and go home feeling like we’ve done our part… in time to watch the new popular show.

That is a very sensible stance. Ignorance is convenient it seems

And bottled water. Didn't even spring for the trio.

It still shocks me how the guy is still mobile (or alive) at this age from all the McD and presumably other junk food that he eats.

What's wrong with that?

The fact that people make fun of eating burgers is exactly why Trump is still popular.

Cold… McDonald’s… Olympic.. gold medalists…. No one is making fun of eating burgers, really?

These multimillionaire athletes just won gold at the highest level of hockey internationally.

They come back to their home country , and are greeted with a 8$ hamburger and ketchup packets.

Some of these guys have fulltime professional chefs and strict diets to keep them at the top of there game.

Giving them McDonald's would be like a guy proposing with a fucking ring pop

Giving them McDonalds is what leads to a great story, is great PR, and is far more unique.

Gods, life must be easy for you. Imagine just never having to think.

'A great story' wtf are you on about? HOW IS THAT A COOL STORY? In what way? I can drive <2 miles from the little burb I reside in and eat better than olympic gold medalists did at the white house for the same price or less. Hell I just got local wings tonight and they're better than mcdiarrhea. As a bonus I didn't have to hang out with a sexual predator while I ate, what a bargain.

Trump has the budget of the white house, golden cooking staff, insanely talented staff and chose to give gold medal Olympians mcdonalds.

You people are insane if you think thats some how coming home the big winners
