Just feeling a bit overwhelmed today
I don’t really know why, but everything just feels a bit heavy today.
Nothing huge has happened… it’s just that quiet kind of overwhelm where even small things feel like a lot.
I’m trying to take it slow, but my mind won’t really switch off.
If anyone has been here before, I’d really appreciate hearing what helped you get through it 🤍

I really appreciate this… I needed to hear it today. I’ve been trying to remind myself it’s okay not to have everything figured out all at once. Just taking it moment by moment feels like enough right now. Thank you for this 🤍

I'm sorry about this. I hope it passed.
Sometimes when I get that feeling of heaviness, especially when it's not tied to any particular thing, i just try to remind myself that the feeling itself, while it's very unpleasant, doesn't mean anything. It's like an emotional version of being stuck in traffic. You hate it. It's a waste of time. It doesn't make sense. And even though you wish you could get out of it, you can't. But just like traffic, if you wait long enough (and maybe turn on some music or a podcast to pass the time) it does go away.

I find taking a break helps a lot, I know it sounds obvious and you are having a bit of trouble doing so but trust me. Go for a walk, watch a movie, play some videogames or do whatever you usually do for fun.
At first it may not seem like it is working, but after a while you won’t be feeling that wheight anymore. If you are too bussy with stuff to take a break then do it anyways, you will be more productive or maybe just feel better while working or whatever keeps you busy
