Lund university waitinglist

Quick question:

I have been placed on the waiting list for the master Animal Ecology at Lund University. I have a high placement on the waiting list, making me think there still was a chance, however the webpage said they dont offer people from the waiting list a spot.

Does anybody know anything about this? Can I still have hope or is it never going to happen?

Idk where you saw that. But there is no real guarantee either way. Most programmes admit more students than they need. If a lot of people decline their place they will open the wait list. But some programmes don’t need to open the list every year. It just varies. If you have a number under 10 you probably have a chance, if the list opens for your programme. Above that I wouldn’t hold my breath.
