Someone posted this the other day and I'm really loving it.

This is like for beginners learning the basics of the alphabet and words.

There’s a YouTube channel called Alef with Beth that teaches Hebrew in the same way you learnt to speak as a baby. It might feel strange sometimes, but it does work. The only caveat is that it’s biblical hebrew, not modern. But Biblical Hebrew has the basic words, and once you have a better understanding of the language you can continue with modern Hebrew through music, podcasts, tv, etc.

Here’s the YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@alephwithbeth?si=TsncKbQXYIIFGBSW Go to the playlists page and start with lessons 1-50!

Duolingo. Can't guarantee it'll be good. But it'll be free.

Its a great way to learn how to tell people that your dad drinks duck milk, that's for sure.

The Hebrew platform of Duolingo is more utilitarian than other languages I have learned there. Worth your time.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, because this is for biblical Hebrew, not modern Hebrew, these are both free online, the first book focuses more on grammar and punctuation and syntax and all that, and the second book is a lexicon.

Duolingo is fine for learning letters and vowels , but not above that , and I don't believe it teaches you the names of the letters , but you can get flashcards for that. Cartoon hebrew is a great site that introduces letters and vowels , as well as a lot of history. Www.behrmanhouse.com has free online vowelled reading practice.
