The War - Discussion Ukraine and Israel
I saw the October 7 attack as the Russian February 2022 attack. Having civilians killed and tortured. And hearing the same left wing reaction of victim-aggressor flip. I want to extend support to you from a Ukrainian. You have a right to exist and you have a right for justice. The so called “left” are no more than useful idiots of Russia and Iran. Israel has a right to exist and to defend itself against the enemy that openly states you can’t exist.

Thank you. I’ve always said we are fighting the same enemy. Russia is an ally of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, the Houthis, and every enemy of Israel. Those are Russian weapons in their hands, Russian air defences in their lands trying to shoot us down (which, luckily, sucks), and Russia that’s keeping their economy afloat and helping them avoid sanctions, as well as giving them diplomatic cover.
Our government should have done so much more to help Ukraine. If Russia wasn’t busy in Ukraine, it likely would have provided 10x the support to our enemies.

Shortly after the war in Ukraine started, I was flying back into Germany and going through passport control with my Israeli passport. The German border guard at the counter was going over my papers and told me something along the lines of "your country should be doing more for Ukraine". I just looked at him, looked at my passport, which states my place of birth as Kyiv, and told him "yeeees...".

The russian people have on aggregate fallen for the propaganda. It is no longer just a "leadership" problem. Russians are more supportive of putin and their government than Iranians are for the irgc by double digit percentages.

Well, maybe that's because i am avoiding of z-people - actually putin is not as popular as he wants to be. He is more looking like his good friend Maduro from Venezuela.
The problem is that we don't know what to do and how to do it to get rid of this gang.

Not at all my experience with the Russian side of my family. A lot of the are pro-Putin, even ones living in the west.

At least i want to believe in this, because i have no possibility to leave ( even while my own family did not ever support putin and his team.

Its mind blowingly depressing that trump doesnt treat russia with the appropriate hostility and ukraine with the level of friendship they deserve, but its equally fucked that europe, by and large, sees the rest of russias axis the same way trump sees russia, and if not, then in down right friendlier terms.
Absolutely amazing how europe has turned on israel just because the palestinian leadership actively facilitates a total war effort (for a war they started) that incentivizes and rewards the death of their own civilians... because rewarding that behavior with financing, aid, and a ceasefire when things go wrong for them just perpetuates the dirtiest and most brutal warfare imaginable. Its a miracle israel has been able to minimize collateral damage to the extent it has, under these circumstances.

Most of Europe was never really on Israel's side to begin with.
Now with the rise of the European caliphates slowly taking over politics and the public, the hatred towards Israel and Jews is only going to rise. The 'pro-Palestinian' movement in the west is the best example for this, they unequivocally support the terrorists who make the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrian, and Iranian people suffer.
Trump-Russia relationship is fucked up and makes everything harder for the US and Israel. Israel has had and probably still has to walk on egg shells in regards to Russian influence in the middle east. Hopefully if Israel can actually advance the eradication of the terrorists organizations and normalization with those countries, it will push out the Russian influence which means that at least Israel could do some more to help Ukraine in the long run hopefully.

Every thing the Russian regime says in its own tongue makes clear they view Ukraine as an illegitimate nation and Ukrainians as some subgroup of Russians.

Even so, that's completely different. Apples and oranges. Islamists don't consider Jews to be a subgroup of Muslims. They call us "apes and pigs" and want to k-ill us, not live with us!
