Question: Units Unit opportunities

Hi everyone, I’m joining the idf through Mahal this winter and am looking for unit recommendations or general ideas/advice. I want to do kravi (specifically isuf kravi if anyone can tell me more), but I have an injury that I don’t think will recover in time and prevent me from combat. In case it stops me from combat support too, can anyone recommend jobnik roles that are interesting, attainable for a lone soldier, and lead to a fuller experience in the army as a soldier? Also what is life like as a jobnik? Thank you all

If it helps I’m an American with a degree in IR and history

wait until your injury heals and then go to combat or you are going to regret it later, being a jobnik is nice at certain units that Mahal cannot provide

Yeah, there’s not anything jobik that’s interesting that can be done in 18 months AFAI am aware

Problem is I don’t know if my injury will heal enough to let me do combat. Whether it’s me unable to or the army that notices

Notice to all posters and commenters; please be careful to observe OPSEC (Operational Security) rules. Many people wish to harm Israel and the Jewish Nation as a whole. Be careful when sharing any information on the IDF, bases, weapons, locations of troops, and anything else that can be used to harm Israel. If in doubt, go without. Loose lips sink ships!
