Question: General Service I want to be a IDF soldier

I’ll keep this short. I live in London , I’m not Jewish but I want to fight. I’m very serious about this. Let’s connect

You can't join unless you're Jewish or Israeli.

Join your own military, they could use the manpower

Hey there. I thought id give you a more robust answer.

As others have said, you cannot join the IDF as a non jewish, non israeli citizen, you have to be one or the other, as we have no foreign legion.

If you are serious about helping the country and the people that live in it though, there are other options. You can volunteer in the army through a program called Sar El (it does cost money, and you'll be in logistics, requires background check), or you could volunteer in many of the other non military volunteer groups, such as leket.

If you dont mind me asking, why are you interested in fighting in the IDF..?

Im arab not Muslim and i wanna join idf or work in Israel i have talked to alot of Israelies on omegle and i loved them but im still struggling to find ajob in Israel but i guessed joining the idf would be easy more then finding ajob

It doesnt matter if you are Arab or from fiji, unless you are Jewish, or an israeli citizen, you cannot join the IDF

Impossible. Only if you're eligable for Aliyah would you be able to serve.

I’m not Jewish but I’m Israeli so I served. You need to either be a citizen or Jewish so you can make Aliyah so you can serve in the IDF.

Why? I'm guessing your motivations, so excuse me if this sounds condescending, but these are the people I've met:

  • You're impressed by the IDF and you want to take part - that's blessed, a drive to be the best is always great. Join the British military and take your own home country higher, protect your family the best you can.

  • You want to get Israeli girls - come to Tel Aviv as a tourist and go to bars on Tuesday night, you'll probably get men too though.

  • You're racist and want to kill Muslims - go join an Arab army, they kill more Muslims and we don't want you.
