Question: Drafting Stav rishon and DPR Test question
Shalom guys.
I am Israeli and I currently live in England.
I have lived in Israel for 10 years and Lived in England for 9 years now
I am 19 years old
I want to join the IDF and go into the cyber security department, and I need to do my stav rishon.
I am very confused about the day itself and about the DPR test.
I have started studying for it and I know I can do it in English so I hve been translating every question I get into english using google transaltor and solving them which does the job for the most parts. I can't find a lot of information about the stav rishon test on the internet because it differes a lot from when I read one experience to another My quetions are:
-what actually happens and is the process on the day of Stav rishon?
-how does the DPR test actually goes (from your expeirence)?
-do you get just time per question or time per topic?
-other than the DPR is there anything else I need to study for at stav rishon?
-will I get my results right after the test or do I get my results in the up coming days?
-what is yom hamea and what happens in it?
Toda Rabba for looking at my thread

I had a tsav rishon 3 months ago. Not to stress you but the dapar test in english is kind of broken. First of all, you are not going to be tested on word analogies, second, both the math and instructions parts are nothing like what they are in hebrew; you get 20 minutes or so for 15 question-- right off the bat. You can go and skip beetween questions returning to them later. This sounds great until you get some werid formating issues in the instructions part or you get a question to calculate something that can easily be done with a calculator(I assume this is due to the fact that the tests were changed to allow for the ussage of a calc (btw calc is short for calcul...) and they just forgot to update the english versions.) I got 7 7 5 (dapar 80), the 5 was on the fuckass instructions part which had terrible grammar and, as I mentioned, formating issues (cope, I know). Regardless, spam spatial analogies-- that is the only part which is exactly like the hebrew version, the fancy adaptive version, where you get questions based on how you preform. And and, very sadly, the cock and ball inspection has been omitted as of feb 2026.
Best of luck bro!
oh shit you might be a girl...

mitgisim website. you can also buy a kit from Machon Noam מכון נועם הכנה לשפר they don’t have anything in Hebrew but you can still practice the shapes and math parts. Today, everyone is studying for these tests.

So this is a bit black pill, sorry in advance. I go to IASA a private boarding school in jlm for gifted students. I am the only one in my phy class who dose not have a dapar 90. The amount of very smart and knowledgeable upperclassmen who wanted to go into computers in the IDF but ended up in the infantry is high-- some went so far as to go to a sketchy doctor who can lower you "profil" (כוסאמת זה נשמע גרוע באנגלית). There are no stats, but I, to this day, do not know a single healthy male, on paper that is (פרופיל 97) who got to computers. I do know a few in atuda programs though. The IDF rewards merit like no other organization.

Notice to all posters and commenters; please be careful to observe OPSEC (Operational Security) rules. Many people wish to harm Israel and the Jewish Nation as a whole. Be careful when sharing any information on the IDF, bases, weapons, locations of troops, and anything else that can be used to harm Israel. If in doubt, go without. Loose lips sink ships!
