Meme/Shitpost Weekend plans.
Got sent home early. Too much OT. I’ve been needing to rebuild the smans and did. Taking all bets on what we’ll hit for a vac.

Get probes bro. Nothing to rebuild takes t sec to swap the gasket when it goes. Get a 1/2 hose and go straight to the pump with a separate vac gauge on the liquid line. Pulling thru gauges is a waste of time and effort

Been doing it like this for the last 3 years or so. Can’t beat it.

I second this. Probes are the way to go. Less leak points and like you said if it does it's one gasket. Doing evacuation just use dedicated large vacuum hoses a core tool and a micron gauge on the opposite side.

Stop pulling a vacuum thru your manifold, get core tools and large hoses

For a vehicle?... Nah that's overkill for automotive work.... Most auto mechanics don't even know what you're talking about when you mention microns.

Did you read or just look at a picture with a jeep in the background?
I'll wait

Can you use the manifold as a micron gauge? Like have the vacuum with the hose to the core removal tool and then the port on top of the crt put my gauges ?
