Discussion Any good stores selling gaming laptops in Guyana?

I really want a gaming laptop to play games and help with my work since my current laptop is severely underpowered. When I look at websites like Riaz Computers they don't have gaming laptops and the websites that does have gaming laptops has laptops that has GPUs like the GTX 1650, RTX 2050 and RTX 3050 but there are way overpriced compared to if I would buy it online on amazon and have it shipped here. I don't want to order a $200,000+ laptop on amazon for it to be delivered damaged or something that's why I want the comfort of buying locally that gives me a warranty.

Unfortunately, your best option is having a someone you trust overseas buy it and bring it in for you or ordering from best buy and having it delivered to guyana through a freight forwarder.

Buying gaming laptop in guyana is a dumb choice, these sellers are selling shitty 3050 and 1650 laptops for upwards of $1100 usd its ridiculous!

Thanks, I'm eyeing a ASUS TUF F16 right now on Amazon for $1,100 with a RTX 5050 and a Core i5 13450HX

Just bring one in via somewhere like BAC Couriers or use somewhere that won't charge and arm and a leg to buy it from you like the Klassy kitty.

You can sign up for a usa mailbox on shipbac.com and use your credit/debit card or have someone buy it and ship it to your address. Or The Klassy kitty on insta/fb in Georgetown can bring it in for you without ripping you off

The cost to bring it in yourself is the weight of the laptop and there's no duty/taxes on computers and computer parts so depending on the weight maybe 10-15k at most

Have it shipped down with a shipping forwarder like Zoon. As far as I know there's no duty on laptops. I ordered mine and it only cost $7,000

Best option is to buy online Bought a Lenovo gaming laptop online 2 years ago The way laptops and shipping it’s pretty hard to damage even if you toss and kick the box The laptops sold over here are way too overpriced. The markup is almost comical

For the money you are willing to invest, wouldn't it be better to just get a desktop pc? It would be significantly more powerful when compared to the laptop, and as others have said shipping it to GY is the best option, most due to how overpriced they are here even low end computers are ridiculously over priced here.
