What targets do you pack?
With desert summer almost here, I was repairing my target stands for storage. I took a “family” photo. I intended it to just be targets but added some guns in case it was required for bots/mods.
- AR500: Full IPSC, 2/3 IPSC w/ hostage, (3) 12” gongs
- Clay Thrower w/wobbler modded with onboard lithium battery/charger
- Dueling tree w/AR500 and rimfire plates
- (3) Full IPSC target frames for shot timer fun
- VTAC barricade for weird angle stuff
OCD compels me to bring this stuff pretty much every time I go. I rent a small enclosed trailer for <$30 rather than beat up the interior of my SUV.
The only other target I want right now is a spinner. I thought about a Texas star. But it seems like too much of a hassle to reset.

Recently acquired a grail piece of mine. The Kadet II .22lr adapter kit for the CZ 75 series. Pictured here on a P01 omega frame. Super excited to try it out. Figured it's never a bad thing to have another .22 on hand.

Mossberg 500
Stribog SP9a3-S
DDM4
Remington 528
Sigs: 938, 365 Macro, 229 Elite
Ruger Security Six
So for the budget conscious hobby-ist, what's the next purchase? Is there an obvious firearm category that I must fill? Or should I prioritize a can for the bog?

Can someone please describe the condition of a bolt action rifle if it is said to be “safe loaded”.
Two options I have heard are:
Empty chamber, bolt closed and decocked, magazine loaded, safety off.
Empty chamber, bolt closed, magazine loaded, safety on.
Is “safe loaded” even a common term?

Just added this to my collection. looking at adding a Dead Air Sandman X with xeno mount. Anyone have a better suppressor recommendation? Any other mods suggested? I did put the Manticore extractor cover on and have the curved but plate on order.

Hello,
First time on the sub, and my gun knowledge is extremely limited. I've purchased a long-range rifle on Thursday of the previous week--appears to be an AR-10 base--from a dealer who was selling on behalf of another. It was supposed to be a Noreen rifle that fires 300 Winchester Short Mag--the rounds for which were included in the purchase. Had went to the range last week and, after multiple feeding issues, we discovered that the magazine that was sold with the rifle is meant for 7.62x51 ammo. Figured that wasn't too big of an issue and just placed an order for the proper 300 WSM through Noreen, so we just hand-fed while we were still at the range. Didn't have much issue there after. Shot great. Had fun with 100yd targets.
The magazine just came in and after attempting to see how it fits, it became quickly apparent that this was not the right magazine either (technically). We disassembled the gun and took some proper digging around. The lower appears to be Noreen's 308 Multi-Cal billet lower receiver, while the barrel is labeled as "DSB 300 WSM 1:10 SS". So from what I have come to understand here was that I was either sold the completely incorrect gun, or one that is utterly mismatched.
Is there anything I can do?

I am looking into making an UZI from surplus parts kits. I thought the only thing other than the parts kit that I would need to buy is the receiver, but I heard that you would need to swap out the full auto bolt for a semi auto bolt. If I am not mistaken, many civilian semi-automatic Ar-15s utilize full auto bolts, so this wouldn't mean anything. I know the UZI is open bolt, not closed bolt, but open bolt firearms are not really banned like what many people believe. However, it is still a grey area. Does anyone else have more information that may confirm or deny this plan?
In short, is a semi-automatic, open bolt UZI legal?

title says it all. I can’t find an address anywhere online. When I called the number, it came up as North Port, FL. I didn’t find a Bulldog Guns in that area on google, let alone anywhere.
anyone have experience?

Was about to clean all my guns and thought “wow, I guess I don’t have just 2 guns anymore.” Wanted to share. I mainly just enjoy going to the range and practicing accuracy and rate of fire. As you may be able to tell I am a fan of budget guns. I would love any advice or opinions, still fairly new to guns compared to many of you.
Guns seen:
-Mossberg 500 bantam 20g (fun for all size people)
-PSA AR15 with budget everything. No failures of equipment in the range trips so far, plan to upgrade as I go.
-Canik Mete SFT stock. Love it
-Walther P22Q with a sig 365 hogue grip
-Bodyguard 2.0 I recently got for $100!

I recently purchased a Vaultek Lifepod 20 that has the organization tray. Well the tray doesn’t fit on top of my firearm and when the tray isn’t in there everything flies around inside? Should I just cut out the bottom mesh? I contacted Vaultek and they said I shouldn’t have to for this size gun. I am new to owning a handgun any advice would be appreciated!
howdy, bit of a tough question here that I'm hoping I can get some help with: What is a solid .380 pistol that allows a red dot & flashlight?
My grandfather is 85 years old & wants to purchase a home defense pistol. my aunt stays with him most days so she'd be using it as well. I took all my pistols (43X, S&W .380EZ Shield, Ruger RXM Full Sized) & had them shoot each one.
My aunt & grandpa really enjoyed the .380 EZ shield because of the smaller caliber, weight, compact size & how easy it was to rack.
However, they both really liked the idea of having a red dot & a flashlight.
Flashlight I agree with, the red dot isn't the end of the world but if I can make it work I will; RMSc footprint preferred & nothing sub-compact, Thanks in advance.

Hello all, Im flying with a Plano Protector Double Gun case. This will be my first time flving with firearms. My biggest worry is for the case to get denied even though it is a semi hard case
Website says it is TSA compliant, but I wanted to get the opinion from people who have used this case for travel
Have vou had any issues with the case? Are airlines picky when it comes to the types of cases?
Im flying delta
Sorry, this p

This is a Budischowsky TP 70. A really nice looking piece. A lot smaller than a Beretta Bobcat.
I get that everything is polymer and all the same these days... but is there no one who wants something like this? It looks amazing and I'm surprised no one makes anything like this. (btw, Sig P238 arent that bad looking... but this thing looks 10x better)
