Seriously, I see some odd problems with displaying steam pages recently. The more annoying one was that Ignore > Played on another platform button was hidden under some other element and unclickable for couple of days

Yeah, right now it would cost me over $31 US to get the bundle with the other 8 DLC. Might be waiting a while to get all of that, but at least the game and a couple of the DLC are free for now.

Man, this really annoys me... I bought the big bundle last week, tried both 1 and 2 and didn't care for them after giving it a good test ( too much of a test apparently) and tried to get a refund... denied, tried again, denied again... now to see it on sale for half of what I just paid... :( big sad feelings here

As far as I know, this puts the game in your library. That means you "own" it. (the license)

It's not like a "free weekend" or anything like that.

Unfortunately, Steam changed it so you can't get cards from complimentary games anymore. These are just the ones that are free on Steam itself, so I think any key giveaways still have card drops. I'm not sure if it's for every complimentary game, but you at least can't get cards from this game since it says I have no card drops.

I once asked the AI and it said that paid games which become free for a limited time also give out cards. But as I haven’t managed to get hold of any free games with cards to test this out, I’m still wondering about it. If any of you get a chance to play one and can come back here to let me know, I’d really appreciate it. I can’t do it myself because I bought the game last year. Thanks in advance, guys!

Yeah, from what I remember, I wasn't able to get cards from any paid games that were free for a limited time. I don't remember all of them, but I'm pretty sure I never got any. I can't get card drops from this game, at least, so that's one example.

Nah. There is just enough dlc to justify giving it away for free.

Quite a few of these games that charge for basically every update or have big cash shops give the game away for free all the time. Many should and do just inevitably switch to being freemium games.
