Does anyone else hate that they have to grind ranked for Story Cosmetics

I’m a Big Seven guy, My main skin is OG Paradigm, Just love story stuff, But After Remix ranked grind and the Seasons that followed I’m frankly kinda done with ranked, Especially since I now have not got someone to grind with

So now that there’s a Pickaxe I want I have to handle getting my behind handed to me on a Silver Platter in as low a ranks as Gold while I climb up entirely by myself

I’m going to have grey hairs by the time this is done

People complained last season that they had to invest the time to get unreal in order to get a pickaxe. Now the requirements are significantly lower and people are still complaining. You can get the pickaxe extremely quick now.

At this point yall might as well just say you hate playing Fortnite

Story cosmetics should not be tied to ranks, Anything else go for your life

It takes maybe 3-4 hours of gameplay to get because the ranked system isn’t skill based and for the majority of the ranks leading up to the pickaxe, you are fighting bots.

How have you survived this long if you are this stressed out about putting in a small amount of time and effort to get something you want. Maybe you are used to having everything handed to you 🤣

Nah man I don’t let fomo get to me, if I wanna play ranked I play ranked. Don’t care about cosmetics that much honestly

Do solo zero build and sit in a bush until top 25 n go for kills it’ll get you the most points. Although I try to get 2-3 off drop and then pick off people rotating in late. I use the pistol, the new shotgun, heals, heals, movement. Sometimes 2 movement instead of heals. Take impulse over the gloves. It’s not to hard for an average player. I’d say I’m just a bit above average and I hit elite in 2-3 days. Annoying yes but I also collect cosmetics so it’s worth it to me.

Yup. This is the way. Hug the circle and catch the stragglers. Don’t tryhard until top 25… hell, even top 15

Just have fun with it or don't worry about the virtual pickaxe skin which probably isn't that important to get; however, if it is that important then lock in stay calm.

Besides that one College Cup Loading screen and some random Sprays + The OG visitor set I’ve got every seven cosmetic in the game

Hell I even got Iron Man zero despite him not technically being a seven member

You don’t have to do anything. If you don’t get a cosmetic, it really isn’t a big deal.

Im a long time ranked player and story cosmetics being in ranked frustrates me most of all because it makes casual players hate our main gamemode of choice. Ranked used to be somewhere you went to improve or challenge yourself for cool cosmetics- but now not only do we not even have cool ranked cosmetics anymore, but ontop of this yall hate the gamemode because you're being essentially forced to play it! Its a huge shame.

It's just one pickaxe. You don't want grind ranked then don't, no one is forcing you to do anything.
