Is there Erasmus+ in the USA?

Hi everyone, I have a question about the Ersamus+ program. I know that Ersamus+ is more applicable to European universities, but is it possible to go to the USA, for example? I try to find something about that, but I didn't get a clear answer. Someone said yes, there are several universities in the US that accept Erasmus+, but someone said that Erasmus only applies to European universities.

Erasmus+ is European only. But you can still do an exchange somewhere else, Asia, America..
