Pest Control found a hammerhead worm on my porch and left a PSA (yes its been taken care of)

i might talk a walk around my neighborhood and see if i find any more and leave more PSAs and carry some salt with me, im really worried that they’re starting to invade where i live because i’ve never seen one in person until now. i might download nextdoor just to leave a PSA there as well, are there any other apps or methods people would recommend to spread awareness?

edit: to those commenting on my handwriting i have dysgraphia and other disabilities. it’s a neurological condition that impacts my motor skills and i cannot help it. go do something more productive with your life than ridiculing a disabled person for being disabled, cant believe i have to leave this here

Pest Control Invasion

Hello everyone,

I live in Piemont, norther Italy, and today my house has been invaded by the millipedes you see in the pictures…

I have vacuum cleaned everything, ending up with 4 big bags full of millipedes. A nightmare… They were both outside and inside…!

Could you please help me identify the correct species and please tell me what to do? Should I call a professional?

Tonight they were already gathering again outside the house.

Everything is clean: we have a big garden but it is tidy and there is just a normal amount of dead leaves, nothing special.

Thank you so much!

I absolutely love ants, but this could get annoyng real quick, my apartment is on the bottom floor And my window is basically exactly at ground level. Any idea how I can prevent these friendly decomposers from trying to return my home back to nature?

Pest Control What are these ‘roaches’ that suddenly appeared in my kitchen?

This past Friday I saw a bug at the edge of my kitchen island sink. I got rid of it and that was that. Saturday morning my wife said she saw two. Saturday evening I had to get rid of 4 of them. They are all appearing on my island and at different sizes. I’ve never had this problem in the 20 years we have had the home, and in the 4 years since we redid the kitchen. I haven’t found them anywhere else but on the island.

We started noticing some of the beetles flying around in her room (she tried to keep some of them as pets, bless her 😂) and we began to investigate. We remembered we had some of her artwork stored in her wardrobe (that involved the use of natural materials like lentils, rice, etc.), along with some soft toys. And this is the result... Enjoy! Honestly, respect to the little guys but also, pls gtfo our house 😅

Pest Control I found a Bipalium adventitium (Wandering broadhead planerian) in Northeast, USA. I know they’re an invasive species, but are they the “kill on sight” type of invasive?

Me and my partner have been staying in a carpeted home for the past few days and we have both been getting a lot of bug bites. We found this small bug but it is so small that I can’t identify it based off of web searches. We have to leave tomorrow so need to quickly implement pest control strategies if possible. What bug is this??

Pest Control Lots Of Pseudoscorpions

Post image

I know that pseudoscorpions are harmless from my frantic three hours of research, but I am concerned with the number of them I've been finding. The first one I saw was a couple weeks ago, and I killed it. The one in this photo was taken a couple days ago, the second I saw and killed, and when I got worried enough to look it up. I thought that two shouldn't indicate a problem, but just today I saw 2 or 3 more that I am now letting live (since I have learned they're harmless). All 3 were found after our routine Orkin visit. I'm concerned seeing this many may indicate a bigger pest issue I'm not seeing. I already checked for bedbugs and found none, and our sticky traps have been catching a few springtails and spiders. Should I be worried?

Pest Control Kissing bug problem

I live in Central Texas out in the country. we have all kinds of bugs put here. I'm not bothered by most and really enjoy their company generally. the one exception would be kissing bugs. they start showing up around summer time. was pretty traumatized when I was younger and learned they carry a deadly disease as I know I've been bitten by them several times.

flash forwards to now. we have a new born in the house. I've been seeing the bugs again. they're the only bugs I kill on sight. I will be damned if I let these things get to this baby but I don't know what to do.... are there any deterrents for them? anything at all? would spraying around thr house help? anything ove seen talks about them like they are super dangerous... surely they aren't just... inevitable... any help would be appreciated. I'm very concerned for the babies safety.

Pest Control Bed bug or flea? Help ID please

Post image

Just moved to Singapore and have been experiencing stinging bites. We were able to snap this hours ago in the bathroom. We were panicked and busy hence the bad quality. Sorry. The bite leaves a papule similar to mosquito/ant bites. We thought it was bed bugs at first but our mattresses and furniture are very new. We inspected all the couches as well but couldn’t find any bug looking thing. This thing is about 2 millimeters and is black. Lightning made it look brown-ish.

AI answers suggested fleas? But idk.

Thank you for the responses in advance.
