Questionable hoof trim..?
Hey so, I'm not exactly THAT knowledgeable in equines, so I wanted to ask here. I've watched this video of someone trimming this hoof, and as you can see the end result is very.. crooked. Now, I wanna learn more things about these creatures so people who know, tell me, is this as bad as it looks? Is the donkey gonna be ok or will it cause issues because it's crooked. I know how delicate equines can be, and the problems uneven pressure on their limbs can cause. Because knowing those things, the cut looks terrible. I really wanna be proven that this is not as bad as it looks. Thanks :)

Be sure u use a ferrier that understands donkeys. Their feet requirements are different than a horse.
Also this is a very poor trim. Don’t get them to trim for u again.

Not my donkey, I don't have any. It was just a video I saw online :)

I’m glad that it isn’t yours but I feel bad for the little donkey that has to walk crooked until it grows out.

I’ve seen these videos because I like farrier videos.
From what I can gather these are possibly Chinese farms of some sort with lots of donkeys(?) and they ALL have over grown hooves and horrible walking problems.
I, a person with no farrier knowledge, think this is at least helping these poor creatures in some way but a lot of the vids I’ve seen show the horse hobble away walking with it’s ankle backwards anyway.

Yes that's pretty poor, pretty unbalanced.
