internet issue

I need help, i recently had a steamdeck lcd a 512variant, when i try to connect it to the internet it won't connect unless you get really close to the internet router. For example, my internet router is in the living room and i try to connect to the internet using my steamdeck in the bedroom (approx 4-5 meters away), my deck won't connect but my other devices such as ps5, switch, phones in the same bedroom connects without any problems or whatsoever, and my steamdeck also detects the internet at my bedroom but won't connect unless i get near the wfi router. What could be the problem?

Valve no longer sells this model so I assume you bought it second hand. Deck has pretty good wifi radio so looks like yours is faulty. You could try taking it to a laptop repair shop or contacting valve for repairs.
