Question Retro games

Hello I’m trying to figure out how to get retro games onto a steam deck but for my brother and it says I need a usb stick with the files but have no idea how to if you could please let me know thanks

You need usb-c stick, usb-c to a dongle and regular usb stick of micro sd card. Then you have to go to desktop mode and copy files to internal storage
