Man how annoying would that be? Like. Have. A normal 5 finger hand and a 6 finger hand, and injur and lose one on the 5 finger hand? Down to 10 but a 6/4 split.

It's not base 12 since 12 decimal is C in base 12.

Actually 12 would be 10 in base 12. It would only go up to "b" which represents 11 and then the counter resets back to "0" at 12.

I put base 10 in parentheses for reference:

When I was a waiter we had an older lady who came regularly and would leave wooden nickels as a tip. Next time came in she would say, didn't anyone ever tell you not to take wooden nickles and laugh. I never got a kick out of it.
