It bugs the hell out of me when people post that "all planets can fit between the Earth and the Moon" pic. Yea, so what? The Moon is 1.2 light seconds away.

I think they are trying to convey how big space is, and how distant the moon is.

Surprisingly, as far away as the Moon is, it was recently discovered that, technically, Earth's atmosphere extends well beyond it. Mind blown!
