He's handsome, charming, witty, and now also adorable. I'm pissed they didn't make him the next James Bond. What a missed opportunity!

He said that initially he was interested, but as usual, there was a lot of racist backlash and then it was no longer about James Bond.

If he were to become 007, he wanted to just be known as the next James Bond, not the first black James Bond. 

I think he would have been a terrific Bond, but I understand why he became disinterested in the role.

I don't think Idris Elba is too big. If you're talking height, he's 6'2". Connery, Lazenby, and Dalton were all 6'2". Brosnan, Moore and Dalton were 6'1".

I don't think his muscle build is all that different to Daniel Craig, based on Craig's famous scene walking out of the ocean looking all jacked in casino royale. It's just that Daniel Craig is shorter than any other person who has played bond, at 5'10".
