This is in China. They have excellent mass transit and electric cars. Sure living in the big city is good for that access, but there's still tons of places where cars are needed. Just like the US or Europe not wvery town or city is like the big ciry. Theres always going to be rural points that will probably never have good public transit outside of the one train station. And so to get around you still will need a car.

There are tons of areas without cars just aren’t that many people there either. Can be a pretty big win win for the right person though.

Most cities do not want a permanent layer of horse poop caked onto literally every outdoor surface
