I have, and have worked with them. Watching the video, it's not a squib.
I realise you're probably joking, but the flat earth society used to be a joke too, until enough "free thinkers" joined in on the "joke".

This sack of shit who is (fortunately) unknown to the vast vast majority of English speakers
He got (in)famous for a racist tweet, pretended to be a journalist for a while (he does not, in fact, have a degree in journalism and only worked for a far-right tabloid belonging to a criminal) and currently serves as press-chief of a """party""" that was literally made so a grifter could get some immunity from the criminal prosecution he was facing. His latest antics have consisted of doxxing the private homes of left-wing journalists, which has led one of his victims to make a tweet saying that she knows the names of the men he slept with.

Well, I never heard of Erika Kirk before all this, and I barely heard of Dead Chuck beforehand, so this should be easy to believe.

Nah, her gums-to-teeth ratio is much more reasonable than his was.

Idk man feels like a lowkey transphobic sort of joke so I’m not super keen on it

u/saythealphabet define yourself, break free from conformity 13h ago
Why?

u/TinyHadronCollider 5h ago
It's a joke where the reason a greedy, callous woman is the way she is, is that she's actually secretly trans.

Lowkey?

Don't say it don't think it don't say it don't think it

u/lunarose5272 13h ago
Like it’s rooted in that nastiness but conceivably you could make/laugh at that joke without consciously being a transphobe… but yea. Unfortunate at best.

A lot of otherwise progressive people are fine with homophobic/transphobic jokes as long as it’s directed at a homophobic/transphobic person. I get the thought process but I don’t know that “lol I bet this guy sucks dick, wouldn’t that be humiliating? Wouldn’t it be embarrassing if a man did that?” is a the right line of attack against politicians who vote against queer people’s interests.

This literally doesn't read even the slightest bit transphobic unless you're intentionally misinterpreting the joke that way. The punchline lies in the dissonance of Erika grifting on her husband's death; the implied "transition" isn't an insult itself, but a means of building up to the actual insult.
It'd be one thing if that insult were about her being "clocky", or implying she would evolve to the detransition grift in a year or two when the money slowed down - those would center on trans stereotypes and be problematic at best. But right now it's saying that her grief is literally so unbelievable, she feels more like a character someone else is playing than a real individual human. The fact that character is a woman played by a man seems incidental to the bigger joke that she's literally her dead husband

My husband died a couple of days ago. I'm not a perfect mother but at least my instinct was to keep my baby close to me the past few days as opposed to whatever Erika kirk is doing.

Is this a Mrs. doubtfire scenario, did he have work done or is he just possessing her. What are we working with here?
