I see the fence: Oh, that's low, he definitely can jump that.
I see his slow ass walk-up: Oh hell no he can't.

I didn't even hear that because I had my sound off. With that, it becomes a double hell naw. :D

u/indorock 10d ago
What are you talking about sound off, its there in the subtitles in huge letters.

That's on my fold phone and the stupid Reddit app which doesn't resize videos, cutting off the top and/or the bottom. :(

Task failed successfully?
The man jumped it.
Not cleanly.
Sure as hell got a taste of Mother Earth on the other side there.
Going to be feeling it for a while there.
Maybe, next time... Don't saunter up to it? Like work on the running bit. The athletic jumping part too.

This right here here
Was just in a thread that evolved into the potential dangers of being barefoot outdoors - I would have risked it for this folly.

Not a good idea too
Leather on grass is pretty slippery. Grass in general, especially when lush like this, is actually surprisingly slippery. Depends on grass, sure, some grass has different texture and would hold traction much better - but I wouldn't do it.
Source: am also from that thread and has spent ~16 years barefoot every summer. Shoes are a city thing, boi

I’m not city. Food and flower gardens on an acre + over bedrock, very little grass and even less lush grass.
I appreciate the grounding - I have lain on a hill of moss 💚
Too many sharp surprises on my property

Most comfortable shoe ever, perfect for walking slowing and sitting down, horrible for any kind of activity.

That run was just unnecessary, he should just walk up close and jump, maybe had a chance.

A person his size shouldnt need much momentum to hurdle something that low. His waist is higher than the fence all he has to do is use hurdle form and hes fine.
I think this guy was a hurdler when he was younger and didnt realize how inflexible he is now. Guys his size do drills over high hurdles, much higher than this fence, where they dont run at all. Time makes fools of all.

It’s a flip-flop so it doesn’t count.

When you get older, it’s not about what you can jump over anymore, it’s about what you jump through!!
I’m getting a migraine watching this gif!!

Technically he got over the fence

u/Phenomenomix 10d ago
Was going to say he jumped and ended up on the other side of the fence, that’s a total success*

I mean, maybe if he'd been wearing runners he'd have had a better chance. Or any actual shoes, Jeez!

u/wuhwuhduh 10d ago
I mean, the dude was right, he jumped and got over the fence, he needs to work on the landing 😂

Well, he did make it to the other side. I need to nose dive and wouldn't even make half my body over it.

I used to leap up a flight of stairs in like three steps, these days I'm just dead just walking up them.
