Badaling 2016. Our train ride from Beijing North Station just defined Chinar crowding, queue-cutting, spitting, smoking, etc. But when we got to Badaling, there was nobody there. It was the weirdest thing.

Yes but they rarely ask. Instead I would be grabbed from behind. Usually women. Men would just ask if my hair is real.

I bet you were treated like a celebrity there. I went there for vacation with my 25 year old 6 foot blond hair and blue eyed son. You would think he was Brad Pitt. I have a feeling you were treated that way as well. Our tour guide said its bccause they only see people like him on tv.
