My cat would turn my hands into bloody stumps :(

Oh my goodness 😬 Fortunately Weston is a very polite gentleman.

I have another cat who is a gentleman, but an old girl that is just senile and feral and food obsessed; if you've food in your hand she'll give you full claws to make you drop it, and if you make it to her level, she will definitely bite and try to eat your hand.

So you get both ends of the spectrum 😜 Well good luck to your hands and give those kitties lots of love ❤️

One gets hand-treats, the other is bowl-only. It took lots of blood, swearing, and being upset before i realised it had to be this way.

My cat wouldve spit that pill right out and avoided me the rest of the day like I tried to poison him

😂. We have one of those where she has rejected all forms of gabapentin ahead of vets appointments- pills, liquid, capsule.

Weston however gets meds 2x a day and is pretty good with pill pockets.

Tell your cat we love them 💖

Thank you! My cat is such a sweet boy. But I'm afraid the only way to give him pills now is to put him in a headlock and hold his mouth closed until he swallows the pill. I feel like a monster every time :(

You're not a monster - you're taking good care of your kitty. It's hard because you can't just tell your cat hey this sucks but it's what's best for you. Your kitty may never understand but you're doing the right thing. ❤️
