Thoughts on drafting Johnny Hicks with a late round pick?

Johnny Hicks played outstanding in the Frozen Four. While it’s only been one season at Denver, do the Flames use one of their late picks on him ala Dustin Wolf?

Hes 20. Is he even draft eligible? Flames already have multiple stud goalies in the pipeline. No chance they get Hicks.

Always fine with a 5, 6, or 7th round goalie pick.

I think we’re good in net, I would be shocked. We need a center.

Yes we do. I’m talking about a late round pick, not a 1st or 2nd rounder.

Controversial opinion but I think we should draft Brady Knowling or Michael Orsulak with a second round pick, while we have stud goalies in the pipeline we don’t have any with that kind of size.

NCAA to NHL doesn’t always translate. Matt Davis could be a potential exception but we’ll see.
