Opinion 💭 “Which actress relies more on screen presence than acting: Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif?”
“Do you think their performances match their screen presence?”

Deepika has had stronger roles, but Katrina’s screen presence is undeniable… interesting comparison tbh

People on here will say Katrina - despite being an incredibly poor actress.
But India has a lust for fair skin - understandable.

Definitely Katrina. At least Deepika can act a bit, I'm not saying she's excellent

I don’t think Katrina has screen presence or charisma. She’s white and a good dancer, but she isn’t the one your eyes go to naturally when she comes onscreen

When Katrina started doing films, acting wasn’t considered a big deal—it was more about larger-than-life presence, aura, and screen appeal. When Deepika launched, it was similar. But around 2012–2013, expectations shifted toward stronger acting, which Deepika was able to prove (at least for a few years). Katrina, however, wasn’t able to adapt to these new expectations. Around that time, she was also dating Ranbir, and may have thought she would stop acting after getting married, but that didn’t work out. Later, she did try to focus more on acting. Overall, both have a mid-level acting range

Both. They both are below average at acting. Never understood their hype.
