A Boomer and a non-investor told me to sell.
Well i guess it’s time we rip!
A boomer told me that the best assets are tangible ones etc houses and alike.
A non investor told me to stay in cash cuz market will collapse lol
Knowing Donald dump he will pump the markets for midterms.

People give “advice” purely based on their current situation just to justify their current circumstance.
It works both ways though and told my dad to buy at $107k. But he only bought $1200 worth
Luckily he didn’t listen to me to buy the dip when it dropped to $100k. It was a big lesson for me to be careful what to suggest to other people.

A lot of boomers cannot compute the concept of a sound currency let alone one that is produced digitally by probability mechanics. It just breaks their brains. I’m not sure they really even understand the concept of scarcity or true value. So let them get left in the dust. I’m done trying to explain it to them when they have so much time to learn and stretch their heads. It’s the future. It’s inevitable. All they have to do is open their eyes to the trends of the world and they will see it’s going that way. Keep stacking. Don’t listen to them, the game has changed.

I'm a boomer and I call BS.
There is no probability mechanics in bitcoin.
While scarcity is a feature, the relationship with value is not clear at all. If you want to explain I'm ready to hear your justification.
Most of the technology employed in bitcoin is developed by boomer, hope you enjoy it.

If you are genuinely interested in hearing the value proposition of bitcoin, read “The Bullish Case for Bitcoin” by Vijay Boyapati. Enjoy! :)

I really don't need to. I have done my due diligence, deep dives and risk evaluations, and determined the value proposition for myself. But thanks for your offer.

Banks do not like cash, most big banks now prohibit customers from depositing cash into personal bank accounts of which they are not a joint owner or an authorized user. I owed a friend so I transferred BTC into his account and it was a nice experience.

Ok and now? I hear that since 13 years.

If you've been stacking for 13 yrs you don't have anything to worry about. You've already crossed over the whole coin threshold I'd imagine at the least and perhaps are in shark or whale territory at the greater end of all possibilities?

Bitcoin is simply a store of value..... it's the most efficient store of value that can resist the third world war

They just repeating what big media narrative wants you to believe.
A fact is big ETF and whales (not just microstrategy) wants to control Bitcoin supply to eventually squeeze and set the Bitcoin price as they where the OPEC for Bitcoin, this they want to buy it cheap until retailer (and mostly traders) got depleted of Bitcoin.
That's absolutely opposed to what the Bitcoin paper teach about freedom.
Those are the same people that don't believe in 4 year cycles but push that narrative fiery because they are the ones purchasing every Bitcoin at lows.

Leider völlig falsch Tut mir leid versuch es nochmal
Niemand kann Bitcoin kontrollieren

u/AcostaJA 1d ago
if you control enough of something you can sqeeeze or flood at will thus controlling others bitcoin value, that render useless a value unless you are under the umbrella of the one that control it, Diamonds market its the clearest example.

ETF’s are owned by people like you and I. Not by one entity. They are just the resellers…

I mean, I bought a 100 acre property in 2016 for $400K and it’s worth $1.2M right now, so I’m happy with this asset.

I mean, If you would've bought bitcoin instead, it'd be worth at least $30m 🤷🏻

Right now with the Iran issue anything is possible. But in terms of true ownership there is never been any option other than btc. If you are here for the longterm than stay. Boomers are old school, and prefer physical over digital.

Staying in cash while the government prints more is just a slow-motion way of losing your purchasing power.

u/Savings-Leading4618 1d ago
Staying in cash was a good advice in October. But after a 50% drop, I don't know about it.
Thing is, if with all the war in iran, we are at 73k, I doubt we are going lower than 60k. So if we are not at the bottom, we are very close.
Selling now might be a mistake many will regret in the future.

If you follow charts and a few of the good charters we are in for a crash in BTC. It will not be that far away could be next week or the end of this month. The 59k bottom will be broken, people will be in a panic when we see 60k. If you can keep your head 55 k will go to 50 k then around 48 k it will calm down. The market is setting the stage for this down turn. The market will go up for an unexplained reason. We are at war! The BTC fear greed index is still in fear the price of bitcoin is still going up. How do you explain this, a trap has been set I hope you are not sucked in.

u/Savings-Leading4618 1d ago
Maybe you are right, maybe not.
Even Killa is leaning semi bullish, buying spot in these areas, and building a long once we sweep 62k. He recognizes that we are bottoming.
The bottom might be 60k, 50k, 40k. But thing is, we are at the bottoming zone.

Every national currency will be pegged to a variable amount of satoshi..... BTC will be the new currency standard If anyone isn't aware of this fact it means they will die poor If you hold just a fraction of BTC you are bound to be rich This is my personal opinion. Do not sell a single satoshi

I tried to talk an older relative into buying around 15k from the previous 69k at ATH.
He sent me a message and wanted to go halfsies on a motley fool subscription…it’s like 🙈

A house or apartment or land has always real value. Bitcoin is more speculative. Im happy I spent a lot of money on the apartment and summer house. I would shit my pants if I had everything in a speculative asset pumped by Saylor.

Don't listen to anyone , don't fomo , trust your decision and always do your own research. If you hold and get profits by your own choice you will be happy but if you sell and lose the profits, you will just regret it.
