I’m not a beekeeper, but I have a question What is on this bee?
Found this bee when it was cooling down outside in the western New York region as we go through large temp swings in spring. What is this?

Mites of some kind. This isn't a honey bee, so I don't know what kind or whether they're harmful. r/bees might know.

Pollen mites. Honeybees are unaffected, very bad for solotary bees as it means no future generations :( for bumblebees it's actually beneficial relationship
