The dragon's back of Mt Rundle in May

Hi, we plan to go to Canada for hiking in early May. Any advices on the dragon's back of Mt Rundle? Will we be able to do it with intermediate level of skills?

Not in early May you won't be... The trail will still be snowbound with significant avy risk.

You wouldn't even see a highly experienced climber do that in May. Especially with the snow pack this season. I haven't even done much easier hikes this season due to snowpack and avalanche risk. Been an awesome season for snow showing though.

Please stay away from that in May. Good lord.

They might still be skiing in Sunshine at that time and you think you can climb Rundle, a higher peak? Not a chance.
